Pursat: On the afternoon of May 13, 2026, Mr. Khoy Rida, Governor of Pursat Province, invited the technical team of the Pursat City Administration to personally inspect the progress of tree decoration and environmental improvement work along the banks of the Pursat River, from the new stone bridge on the east side to the old stone bridge.

The provincial governor recommended and instructed the working group to pay close attention to trimming tree branches to ensure they are neat and aesthetically attractive. This decoration work is not only done to beautify the city, but it is also part of maintaining the trees to grow well and ensuring safety for citizens who travel or exercise along the river.

The provincial governor is firmly committed to transforming Pursat into a “developed city and green environment”. The provincial governor always encourages the city authorities and relevant departments to continue to monitor and maintain existing achievements and create new unique beauties to meet the needs of the public.

Through continued improvements, it is expected that the Pursat River will become a tourist destination One of the most attractive tourist attractions in the region, reflecting the continuous development of Pursat Province under the leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
