Kampong Speu: Under the strict and attentive leadership of Brigadier General Meng Srun, Commander of the Kampong Speu Provincial Military Police, and with the coordination of the procedures from the Prosecutor of the Kampong Speu Provincial Court, the Kampong Speu Provincial Military Police Special Forces and the Samaki Monichey District Military Police Base Force, led by Lieutenant Colonel Cheang Rachana, Commander of the Samaki Monichey District Military Police Base Force, at 8:50 pm on May 8, 2026, conducted a patrol in the Samaki Monichey District. When they arrived near Wat Prey Boeng in Ampil Meam Village, Kraing Chek Commune, Samaki Monichey District, they found two people acting suspiciously. Under the rules of the Samaki Monichey District Military Police Special Forces, they were called in for questioning. And during the search, some narcotics were found. The suspect was immediately arrested at the scene and sent to the Samaki Monichey District Military Police Base.

The two suspects who were arrested were named Phoeun Phas, male, 22 years old, occupation unknown, current residence in Toul Kes village, Kraing Chek commune, Samak Monichey district, Kampong Speu province, and another named Khem Sokny, male, 19 years old, with an unspecified occupation, currently residing in Tahun village, Kraing commune, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province.

The evidence seized included: 2 packets of white powder suspected to be drugs, 2 motorcycles (DreamC125 025, black, license plate (Phnom Penh 1MA-5646), DreamC125 025, black, license plate (1AA-6187), 2 phones, 1 black Oppo, 1 white iPhone, 1 weighing scale, 1 identity card, and some other tools.

Currently, the two suspects above, along with the evidence, have been prepared by the Anti-Drug Bureau in the Crime Suppression and Investigation Department of the Kampong Speu Provincial Military Police Headquarters, and a case has been submitted to the Kampong Speu Provincial Court for legal action.
