Phnom Penh: While his mother is seriously ill, Mr. Kem Sokha was allowed to visit her at home in a borey in Phnom Penh on the morning of May 20, 2026.
According to Mr. Pheng’s Facebook Heng, Kem Sokha’s defense lawyer, was summoned by the Ministry of Interior to meet his mother, who was brought to his house in Borey by Kem Sokha’s younger brother in Phnom Penh.
The lawyer’s Facebook page also highlighted that it was really heartbreaking when his mother heard Kem’s voice. Sokha, his mother, tried to blink her eyes, as if to show that she was still listening to Mr. Kem Sokha’s call and trying to listen to the Dharma.
