Phnom Penh: Mr. Khuon Phonrattanak, Cambodian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, expressed hope that Sky Angkor Airlines will consider the possibility of operating direct flights from Seoul, Korea to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Such remarks by Mr. Khuon Phonrattanak On the occasion of a courtesy call and business discussion with Mr. Kim Andy, Deputy Director General in charge of Marketing of Sky Angkor Airlines at the Embassy of Cambodia in Seoul on the morning of May 20, 2026.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the general situation of Sky Angkor Airlines travel between Cambodian and Korean people and discussed strengthening cooperation between the two institutions. In order to facilitate the travel of Cambodians who always trust and use Sky Angkor’s services and increase the number of Korean tourists visiting Cambodia.

Taking this opportunity, the Cambodian Ambassador also informed Mr. Kim about the embassy’s plans to organize major events in the future and asked the company to join and support.

Meanwhile, Mr. Khuon Phonrattanak told Mr. Kim that many Korean and foreign tourists intend to visit Cambodia’s Angkor Wat. Therefore, it is hoped that the company will consider the possibility of operating direct flights from Seoul to Siem Reap to facilitate tourists who wish to travel directly to Siem Reap.

In response, Mr. Kim said that Sky Angkor Airlines also plans to operate direct flights to Siem Reap for the coming winter.
