Pailin: The Pailin Provincial Vocational Training Center (PLPTC) of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training has provided scholarships in 11 fields of expertise through the Vocational and Technical Training (TVET 1.5M) program of Prime Minister Hun Sen, as well as monthly stipends for young people from poor and vulnerable families.

It is noteworthy that there are three majors that have been registered by the most young people, former workers, and residents of Pailin province. The three majors include fruit and vegetable processing, administrative services, and beauty services, which are all skills that are in line with the needs of the labor market and can increase additional income and create your own business.

At the same time, the PLPTC Center said that from 2024 As of the first quarter of this year, a total of 2,640 students have been awarded scholarships. Among them, 1,869 young people from poor and vulnerable families.

It is worth noting that since the announcement of the implementation of the Vocational and Technical Education and Training (TVET 1.5M) program on January 15, 2024, up to the first quarter of 2026, a total of 164,677 people, including 70,780 targeted youth from poor and vulnerable families, who received monthly stipends and skills training across Cambodia.
