RPITSE Institute in Kratie Province provides more than 3,000 scholarships to young people from poor and vulnerable families in 12 majors through a 1.5 million VND program.

Kratie: The Regional Polytechnic Institute of Technology Sen Isan (RPITSE) in Kratie province of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training has provided 3,145 scholarship places to citizens and youth from poor and vulnerable families under the TVET 1.5M program of His Excellency Prime Minister Hun Sen.

According to RPITSE, the institute has enrolled a total of 2,263 students from 2024 to the first semester of 2026. The most popular majors for students to enroll in include 1- Plastering, 2- Electrical installation in buildings, 3- Home air conditioning service, 4- Motorcycle maintenance and repair, 5- Vehicle maintenance and repair.
 
At the same time, RPITSE Institute has provided scholarships for 12 majors, including 1- Plastering, 2- Electrical installation in buildings, 3- Home air conditioning service, 4- Motorcycle maintenance and repair, 5- Vehicle maintenance and repair, 6- Electrical welding, 7- Security camera installation and maintenance, 8- Computer graphic design, 9- Computer service, 10- Beauty service, 11- Men’s hair cutting service, and 12- Khmer cooking.

It should be noted that the vocational and technical skills training program for targeted youth from poor and vulnerable families across the country, totaling approximately 1.5 million people, at the technical and vocational diploma level, was initiated by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen in 2023 and announced for implementation by Samdech Maha Bavorathdei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on November 14, 2023.
