Kampong Thom: Regarding the fight against online crime, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the acting head of state of Cambodia, declared that there will be no tolerance for any location used as a place for online fraud and those involved will not be exempted.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s remarks during a meeting with 1189 provincial, city, district, commune, and sangkat councils and leaders of departments and organizations around Kampong Thom province. The ceremony was held at the meeting hall of Low Kim Seng Restaurant in Stung Sen city, Kampong Thom province on June 3, 2026.
On that occasion, the Prime Minister also reminded all officials to continue to maintain national stability and pay attention to maintaining social security and order by continuing to implement the village and commune policy. Safe includes: suppressing various crimes such as theft, robbery, drug trafficking, and technology crimes.
Samdech Techo also continued to urge authorities to continue to pay attention to protecting and preserving local natural resources, especially Kampong Thom province, namely the natural resources of Tonle Sap Lake, to prevent encroachment on flooded forests, and to jointly preserve them sustainably.
