Phnom Penh: On Thursday morning, June 4, 2026, Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, was invited to attend the “Second Business Breakfast between State Institutions and the Private Sector” program under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mr. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh Hotel.
The program, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (AmCham Cambodia) under the initiative of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, was attended by leaders of national ministries and institutions, representatives of various embassies in the Kingdom of Cambodia, and leaders of leading international chambers of commerce and business associations, which are important economic players, as well as members of many other relevant institutions.
This important event was held to review the functioning of the Government-Private Sector Forum (G-PSF) mechanism, identify specific gaps in the submission of issues, consultations, document preparation, monitoring and oversight, and gather feedback from the International Chamber of Commerce on ways to make the G-PSF mechanism more transparent, predictable and effective, and discuss priority reforms to enhance the effectiveness of the work of the G-PSF Working Group and the Technical Working Group, etc.
