Svay Rieng: On June 5, 2026, Mr. Mam Vannak, Secretary of State, High Representative of Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, along with relevant officials, visited and brought gifts to 18 workers, including 11 women, who were involved in a traffic accident on the morning of June 4 in Myraek Village, Svay Chek Commune, Romduol District, Svay Rieng Province.

Currently, all the workers are receiving treatment at two hospitals, with five seriously injured workers (including three women) receiving treatment at Svay Rieng Provincial Hospital and 13 lightly injured workers (including nine women) receiving treatment at Romduol District Referral Hospital.

During the visit, Mr. Mam Vannak brought the Minister’s gift, including a fruit basket and some money, to each worker to help ease their hardships during their medical treatment. At the same time, the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training expressed its condolences and wished all workers and employees a speedy recovery from their injuries so that they can return to their families and work safely. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Labor, through the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), will continue to help resolve and provide various benefits to the victims in accordance with the law and the social security regime in force.
