Prime Minister Hun Sen leads delegation to attend 3rd ASEAN Future Forum in Vietnam

Phnom Penh: At the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Huong, on the morning of June 8, 2026, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen led a high-level delegation to pay an official visit to Vietnam and attend the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum in Hanoi from June 8-9, 2026.

Invited to accompany Prime Minister Hun Manet include Dr. Phech Chanmon Hun Manet and Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as well as ministers, key government officials, and business representatives from the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and the Cambodian Oknha Association.

The Prime Minister will have a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Le Minh Huong, where the two leaders will exchange views on ways to deepen bilateral relations as the two countries celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year.

The two Prime Ministers are also scheduled to discuss regional and international issues of common interest and concern.

During this visit, Prime Minister Hun Sen will pay a courtesy call on Mr. To Lem, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President of Vietnam, and Mr. Chinh Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam.

The President will deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the “ASEAN Future Forum” under the theme “Building Our Future Together: Peace, Prosperity and People at the Core”, which emphasizes promoting trade, investment and economic cooperation in ASEAN.
