Phnom Penh: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and the Royal Cambodian delegation arrived safely at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and were welcomed by Mr. Mach Hung, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Please note that at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Huong, on the morning of June 8, 2026, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen led a high-level delegation to pay an official visit to Vietnam and attend the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum in Hanoi from June 8-9, 2026.
As planned, Prime Minister Hun Sen will have a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Le Minh Huong of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, where the two leaders will exchange views on ways to deepen bilateral relations as the two countries celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year.
The two prime ministers are also scheduled to discuss regional and international issues of common interest and concern.
During the visit, Prime Minister Hun Sen will pay separate courtesy calls on General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President of Vietnam To Lem and Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Chinh Thanh Minh.
The Prime Minister will also deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the “ASEAN Future Forum” under the theme “Building Our Future Together: Peace, Prosperity and People at the Core”, which emphasizes promoting trade, investment and economic cooperation in ASEAN.
