Phnom Penh: Mr. Sun Mesa, spokesperson for the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, said on June 11 that the theme of the 9th National Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Day 2026 clearly reflects the true value of vocational education.

According to Mr. Sun Mesa, the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training will organize the National Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Day on 9th June 2026 on 15-16 June 2026 under the theme “TVET provides skills, jobs and income” at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center with the aim of promoting understanding of the importance of technical and vocational education and training. and promote the development of skilled labor in line with labor market needs.

He added that National TVET Day is not only a platform to promote technical and vocational education and training, but also an opportunity to showcase the achievements, achievements, and potential of TVET students, as well as to connect training institutions and the private sector to ensure that training meets the actual needs of the labor market.
