Interior Minister launches secret program to understand the real working lives of police officers

Phnom Penh: During a recent mission to Battambang province, Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha, Minister of the Interior, launched a secret work program at two locations in Thma Kol district. Without prior notice, the Deputy Prime Minister went to inspect the actual lives and work of officers at the Rung Chrey Administrative Police Station and the Kork Khmum Administrative Police Station.

At the Rung Chrey Administrative Police Station, Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha encouraged the officers, deputy officers, and officers who were present on duty to perform their duties as usual. After lunch break.

The meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister and the Rung Chrey Police Station officers took place in a very friendly atmosphere. The Deputy Prime Minister received some information about security and order work, identification and statistics services, the use of digital technology, human resources, materials and means of work, etc.

The leaders and officers of the station also informed the Deputy Prime Minister of their requests and suggestions related to the work of the commune administrative police station. The Deputy Prime Minister considered all this information as a basis for considering, proposing methods and solutions, and preparing a plan for continuous reform for the long term.

During the discussion, it was also seen that citizens continued to request identity cards and residence books.

On that occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister continued to inspect and greet the commune council members and employees of the single-entry mechanism who are currently performing their duties and providing services to citizens before continuing to the Kork Khmum Administrative Police Station.
