Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen has advised those who are studying for TVET that it is not as valuable as a bachelor’s degree or a bachelor’s degree, but it is equally valuable.
On the occasion of presiding over the 9th National Technical and Vocational Education and Training Day 2026 under the theme “TVET provides skills, jobs and income” on the morning of June 15, 2026, the Prime Minister said that the Royal Government has set a target of 1.5 million TVET programs, but whether or not it is as desired, there is no problem. The important thing is to ensure quality for all learners upon completion of the course.
The Prime Minister continued, “I would like to appeal to all students who are studying for TVET programs to pay attention to Encourage yourself and your family not to think that studying Tevet is a professional degree, not as valuable as studying for a bachelor’s degree or a bachelor’s degree. No… the value is the same, the skills are different.”
