Phnom Penh: Dr. Kao Thach, the Royal Government Delegate in Charge of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), was invited to lead a meeting of ARDB leadership to review and discuss the progress of the work to create the ARDB Marketplace platform. The meeting was held on June 15, 2026 at the ARDB headquarters.
Please note that ARDB Marketplace is a platform to create a market intermediary to help bridge the supply and demand gap by connecting producers and consumers of agricultural products to help maintain sustainable markets and supply chains. and stability of domestic agricultural product prices.
At this important meeting, with a high sense of responsibility and leadership, His Excellency Dr. Delegate gave key recommendations to the leadership and team of ARDB Bank, including: Prepare and modify the system to have a better multi-currency, Real Time Settlement to the merchant upon completion of the shipment of goods and the team for clearance and settlement to support ARDB market operations, etc.
Before the end of the meeting, Dr. Kao Thach also highlighted how to organize the ARDB market to be attractive and modern in line with current technological advances as a policy bank that enjoys high trust from the public.
