Taking this special opportunity, Dr. Kao Thach expressed his deepest gratitude to Mr. Ros Silva, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the distinguished representative, Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance. who was honored to preside over the opening ceremony, as well as the leaders of ministries, institutions, MSC, KDB Bank, the Australian Embassy, and all relevant parties who participated with a spirit of initiative and high responsibility to achieve today’s glorious achievements.

The doctor considered Today’s excellent results did not happen by chance, but rather came from a truly collaborative effort. The launch of the CCFF is “a significant historical turning point and a source of great pride for Cambodia, as well as the entire Asian region,” in establishing the first national climate fund for the private sector. This event officially opens the door to a long-term, highly concessional green financing mechanism for Cambodian businesses and local financial institutions from now on.
