Phnom Penh: On the morning of April 20, 2026, the 99th Transport Brigade organized a ceremony to publicize the latest developments and strengthen the roles and responsibilities of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces in a new phase, under the chairmanship of Major General Hul Sam On, Commander of the 99th Transport Brigade, with the participation of deputy commanders and officers, offices, commanders-deputy commanders, battalions, and platoons under the unit.

On that occasion, the Major General, Commander, spoke in depth about the latest developments, both regionally and internationally, especially the situation along the Cambodian-Thai border, emphasizing the close monitoring of activities related to the construction of infrastructure in some areas that may affect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

At the same time, the Major General also set out work directions and assigned some important tasks to all forces, which must be absolutely committed to defending the nation, religion, and the King. And protect the integrity of the territory at all costs. Must strictly follow the orders, respect and implement all orders of all levels of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and the Ministry of National Defense. Prepare the qualifications, continue to strengthen the ability and spirit of ownership in preventing any attempt to violate national sovereignty.
Finally, Major General Hul Sam On urged all soldiers to continue to strive to fulfill their duties to achieve new successes in accordance with the high leadership recommendations of His Majesty the King Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, for the cause of serving the national society and providing peace to the entire Cambodian people.
