Phnom Penh: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Sokha said that the presence of Samdech Techo Hun Sen near the body of the Queen Mother has made compatriots feel a sense of respect, gratitude and warmth.
Mr. Sokha’s remarks came after Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the King’s Personal Advisors, posted a message to his compatriots on the morning of April 21, 2026 about the health of His Majesty the King, the Lord of Life on Earth, saying that His Majesty’s health has improved.
On behalf of the leadership, civil servants, national police officers, and prison officers of the Ministry of Interior, Mr. Sokha bowed down to the Royal Family and offered his blessings to His Majesty the King, the Lord of Life on Earth, for better and more abundant health so that He can return to His homeland soon. May it be a cool shade and a source of comfort for the Cambodian people, the children of the motherland.
At the same time, the Minister of Interior expressed his high respect and deep admiration for Samdech Techo, who personally visited the capital Beijing to pay his respects and offer his strength to Her Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen Mother, the Royal Mother of the Cambodian nation.
Mr. Sokha added that Samdech Techo’s high presence in the capital Beijing, especially near the body of Her Majesty the King, on the occasion of Her Majesty’s surgical treatment, made compatriots, including Her Majesty himself, feel the utmost gratitude and warmth.
The Minister of Interior emphasized that Samdech Techo’s gesture further confirms his high consciousness in defending the throne and the constitutional monarchy in all circumstances.
