Siem Reap: After the end of the traditional Khmer New Year, the combined forces began to enforce traffic laws again on April 20, 2026 in Puok Thmey Village, Puok Commune, Puok District, Siem Reap Province.
We observed the participation of Mr. Ly Sary, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province, Puok District Governor, Traffic Police of the Siem Reap Province Police Department, Military Police officers, and officials of the Siem Reap Province Department of Public Works and Transport.
To check driver’s licenses, vehicle technical inspection certificates, and trucking business licenses, and in addition, there are checks for driving without a seat belt, not wearing a helmet, and checking for drugs, etc.
