The government spokesman added that in early 2026, UN experts assessed that Cambodia could still meet the necessary conditions to graduate from Least Developed Countries (LDC) in 2029 as planned.
He claimed that the joy and movement of domestic and foreign tourists during the traditional New Year also showed lively socio-economic activities, while resolving the fuel crisis Good, as well as the provision of free transportation during the New Year holiday, has shown the resilience of the Cambodian economy, with the government continuing to spend a lot of money to help improve the lives of its citizens.
