Phnom Penh: Ms. Hun Sinat has come out in strong criticism, considering this action to be lax and unfair to the general public.

Ms. Hun Sinat expressed strong dissatisfaction As a result, the five police officers were demoted to four and a half. She wrote on Facebook:

«Khmer, don’t enforce this law on the people because those who break the law and don’t get punished, then they are police officers, e-cigarettes, and their reputations are reduced. If the people are like the people, they will go to prison. Besides, what do you think about the 9-point order of President Hun Sen?

According to Order No. 02 of the DAP. Dated October 21, 2025:

-Point 9 clearly states that all ministries and institutions must impose the strictest administrative sanctions on civil servants, national police officers, and soldiers who use Vape.

Ms. Hun Sinat’s message is a serious warning to the disciplinary enforcement unit not to allow subordinate officials to use “strings” or “power” to escape the net of the law. If the Prime Minister’s 9-point order is not implemented uniformly, it will definitely lead to a loss of public confidence in the entire national police force.
