Tboung Khmum: Tboung Khmum provincial joint forces conducted an administrative inspection under Sub-Decree No. 03 to prevent, suppress and suppress crimes related to online scams in Ponhea Krek district, Tboung Khmum province, arresting approximately 212 people.
This operation, in accordance with the strict orders of General Sar Thet, Commissioner-General of the National Police, and Mr. Pen Kosal, Governor and Chairman of the Unified Administrative Command of Tboung Khmum Province, with the coordination of the procedure by the Prosecutor’s Office of Tboung Khmum Provincial Court and the direct command of Major General Chen Ny, Commissioner of Tboung Khmum Provincial Police, the Unified Administrative Command of Tboung Khmum Province, consisting of the provincial police, the provincial military police, in cooperation with the Criminal Department of the National Police, conducted an open administration to inspect apartments, villas, and buildings suspected of committing online scams in apartments, villas, and buildings in Trapaing Phlong 1 Village, Trapaing Phlong Commune, Ponhea Krek District, Tboung Khmum Province on April 29, 2026.
In the above operation, the Tboung Khmum provincial joint forces went down to find a location involved in online scams and two other locations where foreigners were gathered. During this operation, the specialized forces arrested approximately 212 people, 39 women, including 192 Chinese, 24 women, 03 Myanmar women, and 10 Vietnamese women. 07 people and 07 Cambodians, 05 women.
The authorities are continuing the procedure to identify the perpetrators, those involved in the crime, those not involved, and to search for the location of the theft, committing the crime of fraud using technology systems (Online Scams).
