Sihanoukville: Samdech Maha Bovorathi Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, said that after the Cambodia-Thai border situation stabilized, the Prime Minister began to work and participate in some programs.
In the past, the Prime Minister canceled some programs because the Cambodia-Thai border issue required the Prime Minister to monitor and be on duty at all times.
Samdech Thibhat Hun Manet’s remarks on the occasion of presiding over the “140th Anniversary of International Workers’ Day, May 1, 2026, and the 30th Anniversary of Japan’s Official Development Assistance for the Autonomous Port of Sihanoukville (1996-2026)” in Sihanoukville Province on Friday morning, May 1, 2026.
Samdech Thip Dei Hun Manet said, “In the past, I canceled some programs due to the situation at the border that required regular work. But after the situation stabilized, we started to work and participate in some programs, including the program here.”
