Pursat: On the morning of May 2, 2026, Mr. Chhay Kim Mong, Governor of Bakan District, presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the achievements of the ceremony to cross the Buddha’s tomb and cross the Mujlinga pond at Wat Hathimongkul (also known as Wat Prey Dorei), with the participation of many monks, local authorities, leaders, civil servants, and Buddhists from near and far in an atmosphere of purity, solidarity, and great devotion.
On this special occasion, the District Governor expressed his appreciation and high appreciation to the abbot, the temple committee, philanthropists, and all Buddhists who contributed their physical strength, mental strength, and resources to build and develop the achievements of the temple to become a place of worship and beneficial to Buddhism.
The ceremony was held in a grand manner, with joy and unity, under the shadow of peace and continuous development.
