Preah Vihear Province: In the spirit of promoting education and building human resources in Cambodia, on May 2, 2026, the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of two new school buildings, equivalent to 10 rooms, was held in a grand manner in Trapaing Sangke Village, Romdoh Sre Commune, Choam Ksan District, Preah Vihear Province.
These school buildings are a generous gift from Khmer Beverages, a subsidiary of Chip Mong, to Bun Rany Trapeang Sangke Primary School and Sen Chey Primary School to meet the real needs of local students.
The activities and composition of this meaningful ceremony were held under the high chairmanship of Mr. Kim Rithy, Governor of Preah Vihear Provincial Government, Mr. Ung Viva, General Director of Khmer Beverages, and were attended by a large number of civil servants, armed forces, teachers, and students.
The importance of the new school building project that will soon take shape is not only a physical structure, but also a strong bridge for children and youth in remote areas to have the opportunity to receive education in a suitable environment.
This project will make a significant contribution to reducing the shortage of classrooms And provide convenience to students living in areas near the border. Improve the quality of education, create a comfortable and safe learning environment, which is a factor that encourages children’s learning spirit. Develop human resources, build a knowledge foundation to transform young people into strong pillars for the development of the nation.
On that occasion, Mr. Kim Rithy expressed his deepest gratitude to Chip Mong Company and Khmer Beverages Company for always showing high responsibility to society. (CSR).
He stated that this charitable activity is a good parallel between the private sector and the government in implementing the Pentagon strategy to reduce poverty by providing education to the grassroots.
