The above-mentioned fishing boat sinking incident occurred at approximately 12:50 p.m. while a fishing boat was out for fishing in front of Prek Sar Siar River when it encountered strong winds causing large waves, sinking the boat. In the boat sinking incident, four people, including Ros Sam, a 40-year-old father, survived, while his wife, Nam Thiary, 38, and two sons, aged 10 and 8, died after the incident. All the victims live in O Krasar village, O Krasar commune, Kep city, Kep province.
