President: State-to-state cooperation is very important

Phnom Penh: Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said that state-to-state cooperation is very important in promoting closer relations.

On the occasion of allowing Mr. Tibor BALOGHDI, Ambassador of Hungary to Cambodia Visiting to pay a courtesy call and bid farewell on May 26, 2026, His Majesty highly appreciated the role of His Excellency the Ambassador, who has actively contributed to promoting and expanding relations and cooperation between the two countries during His Excellency’s diplomatic mandate.

His Majesty expressed satisfaction with the progress of high-level relations between the two countries Both in the legislative and executive bodies, and thanked the government and people of Hungary for continuing to provide scholarships and care for Cambodian students to continue contributing to building Cambodian human resources.

The King emphasized that cooperation between states is indeed important, but people-to-people relations also play an equally important role in promoting friendship and solidarity between the two countries. To be even closer.

The King added that the Royal Government of Cambodia will continue to strengthen relations between the two countries, both in the bilateral, regional and global frameworks. The President also urged Cambodia and Hungary to continue to strengthen public-private relations by organizing business visits focusing on priority sectors such as water resources management and agro-industry, etc.
