Tbo Khmum: Samdech Maha Bovardhei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, stated that as long as the Cambodian People’s Party has the support of the people to lead the country, agricultural land taxes will not be collected, and this is a clear policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Samdech Maha Bovardhei Hun Manet’s remarks on the occasion of presiding over the inauguration of the rubber processing factory of Kim’s Rubber (Cambodia) Company in Tbo Khmum province on Wednesday morning, May 27, 2026.

The Prime Minister said, “The Royal Government will continue to help, especially in our agricultural sector, by not collecting taxes on agricultural land as long as the Cambodian People’s Party has the support of the people to lead the country. We still do not tax this agricultural land.”

On that occasion, Prime Minister Hun Manet also mentioned the goal of creating industrial parks in the provinces, which is to maintain a high-value and stable market for farmers. If the production chain and buyers are brought to the province, the Royal Government will help investors by providing low taxes so that they can buy agricultural products from Cambodian farmers at a high price and have a stable market from farmers in the province. This is what the Royal Government is doing.
