Phnom Penh: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the acting head of state of Cambodia, has firmly declared the defeat of all those who attempt to overthrow the legitimate government and the “Hun” clan, while the king welcomes those who practice politics peacefully.
During an invitation to visit and inspect the headquarters of the General Department of Taxation on June 2, 2026, Samdech Techo Hun Sen reiterated his message to the opposition abroad that whoever wants to overthrow the government and the Hun clan should rise up and strike, and there will be no exceptions.
Samdech Techo continued that if the leadership of Cambodia does not include the Hun clan, it is not yet the time for the Sam clan or any other clan. There are many children of angels waiting to lead them.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen said, “If you are going to overthrow the Hun clan, you must be warned. Anyone who tries to overthrow the government should rise up and fight. Those who do politics peacefully, without trying to overthrow, I respect your rights. If you continue to say that you will overthrow the “Hun” clan, please tell us clearly. If there is no Hun clan to lead, it is not yet the turn of the Heng clan. Only the children of angels have the right to hold power.”
