Phnom Penh: On the occasion of visiting and inspecting the headquarters building of the General Department of Taxation on June 2, 2026, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the Acting Head of State, praised it as the largest building among other state buildings.
Samdech Techo also said that among the many large state buildings that have been completed, only the tax center building is the largest in the entire Kingdom of Cambodia.
Samdech Techo stated that “it is a success that has been placed… it can be said that it is the largest building among state buildings The Peace Palace building is only 50,000 square meters, the 7 Makara Palace is only 57,000 square meters, but this building is more than 150,000 square meters.”
Samdech Techo said that this is an achievement that came from the initiative and efforts of the General Department of Taxation under the leadership of His Excellency Kong Vibol Under the support of the Minister of Economy and the Prime Minister of Cambodia.
