Through a press release, the spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia said that on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, the Coordination Group (CLG) of the Kingdom of Cambodia coordinated with the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) led by the Head of Mission of the ASEAN Observer Team (HOM AOT) Philippines to observe, verify and report on the border situation at An Ses Pass, Choam Ksan District, Preah Vihear Province, which was attacked, barbed wire was laid and containers were illegally occupied by the Thai military, making it impossible for many families to return to their homes.
