Phnom Penh: Professor Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, said that health services have developed because health organizations always link guiding principles to practical implementation.
Professor Chheang Ra’s remarks On the occasion of leading the Leadership and Innovation Session on June 2, 2026.
In the meeting, Professor Chheang Ra brought appreciation and advice from the top leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia to all health officials who have united to improve health services. In response to encouragement from government leaders, health officials are committed to maintaining this reputation by strengthening ethical and professional work practices with a view to promoting the dignity of the health profession.
In this session, the Minister raised two points regarding the level of intervention for preparing In a job that has both external aspects such as providing quality services and being convenient for everyone to receive services. For the internal aspect, which is the job of the health unit to manage work more quickly and efficiently, with accountability and clear technical regulations.
As a follow-up, the team of Oudomxay Provincial Referral Hospital presented a vision for moving towards receiving quality service recognition at the provincial referral hospital. The presentation reflected the use of leadership in the hospital through setting a vision, goals, mission, values for the hospital, staff, and planning various projects for the hospital to move towards future service quality recognition.
