Phnom Penh: Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said that protecting sovereignty and territorial integrity does not require the use of armed forces, but the use of all national forces.

On the occasion of presiding over the inauguration of a three-story building and various achievements at the National Institute of Physical Education and Sports on the morning of June 3, the Prime Minister said that using all national forces means targeting the people and the economy.

The Prime Minister said, “The issue of sovereignty and territorial defense is not just using armed forces, not using modern troops and weapons, but using the total strength of our nation, our people and our socio-economic system, because when we faced each other last year, when war broke out, the entire national force helped support our frontline troops.” .

The Prime Minister also said that a nation can only be strong if its people are strong. A strong economy is a strong nation. A strong economy, a sense of patriotism, and the resources of each person are capable and healthy. This is the only way to defend the nation. Therefore, the development of the country is not seen from one side, but from the whole forest.

The Prime Minister emphasized that national defense is not a one-day defense, but national defense requires long-term use, and as long as Cambodia remains a country, national defense must be done. The Prime Minister emphasized that the protection of territorial integrity and social security and order must be done regularly.
