Phnom Penh: In response to the high appeal of Her Excellency Dr. Pech Chanmon Hunmanet, Honorary President of the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation, to jointly maintain the sustainability of the Kantha Bopha Hospital, on the afternoon of June 4, 2026, Dr. Kao Thach, the Royal Government Delegate in Charge of the General Director of ARDB Bank, and the leadership and staff under him walked 2,700 steps for Kantha Bopha at Morodok Techo Stadium, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Aun Pornmoniroth and Mrs.
That afternoon, Deputy Prime Minister Aun Pornmoniroth, Minister of Economy and Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation, also invited approximately 1,500 leaders, officials, and staff of the Ministry of Economy and Finance to walk 2,700 steps at Morodok Techo Stadium.
Please note that this is the first event of the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation Support Committee for the general departments and units of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as well as several other institutions under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, with the aim of supporting the “10,000 Riel 10,000 People Campaign”, which is a large and important annual campaign of the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation.
The organization of this walk is in accordance with the call of Her Excellency Dr. Pech Chanmony Hun Manet, Honorary President of the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation, during the opening ceremony of the “10,000 Riel 10,000 People Campaign” 2026 and the “Meeting with the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation Support Committee of Ministries, Institutions, and Capital-Provincial Administrations” on May 28, 2026.
Please be informed that the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation Support Committee of the Rural and Agricultural Development Bank, the bank’s leaders and employees, who participated monthly in total, 394 people, donated to the 10,000 Riel 10,000 People 2026 campaign through the 2,700 Steps for Kantha Bopha event, 48,415,036 Riel and 109,001 US dollars.
