Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Education announced that regarding the incident of a group of students at Samdech Hun Sen Bun Rany High School, Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh, who kicked and kicked another student, if they continue to be violent, they will be temporarily suspended from their studies and transferred to another school.
According to the measures taken by the Ministry of Education on the afternoon of June 5, on the morning of June 5, a group of students attacked a student at Samdech Hun Sen Bun Rany High School, Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh, which was caused by 6 students. In this case, the Ministry decided to take disciplinary measures against the group of provocative students by providing education, direct guidance, and making a contract to stop violent activities with the knowledge and signature of the students’ parents or guardians.
At the same time, the high school principal must take action against the six provocative students by assigning them to do school labor or public service work in the school for one month, without considering other legal measures implemented by the competent authorities.
The Ministry stated that “in cases of misconduct, the Ministry will temporarily suspend studies for 1 or 2 weeks or change classes or transfer schools to another school.”
At the same time, the Ministry asks the parents or guardians of provocative students and the guardians of the victim students to increase monitoring and educating their children at home, both in terms of behavior, socializing with friends, and using social media more closely, and to report to the school regularly.
