Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin has claimed that Russia has not ruled out dialogue with European countries.

At a meeting with the heads of major international news agencies attending the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, At the 29th St. Petersburg summit, Putin said that Europe’s aid to Ukraine undermined his neutrality as a mediator in the peace talks. “It’s one thing to participate in negotiations, and it’s another to be a mediator,” he said.

However, Russia has not rejected relations with Europe, Putin said, adding that he was surprised to hear the words about “evil Russia” stopping energy supplies to Europe.

“Russia has not stopped supplying energy to Europe, but Europe simply refuses to buy, hoping that things will get better for us,” he continued.

Commenting on the candidate Possible for negotiations with Russia, Putin said that Moscow has not imposed any sanctions, but they should be people that Russia can trust. He added that such discussions could take place at the level of the Foreign Ministry or intelligence services.
