ARDB Director General calls on farmers to join the Techo Farmers Network Association, which was established with the aim of serving farmers.

Kep Province: Dr. Kao Thach, the Royal Government Delegate in Charge of the Rural and Agricultural Development Bank and President of the Techo Farmers Network Association, Dr. Som Piseth, Governor of Kep Province, on the afternoon of June 10, 2026, invited farmers in Kep City and Damnak Changer District, Kep Province to meet.

The program was also attended by deputy provincial governors, administrative officials, police inspectors, military police, city/district, specialized offices, officials of the city/district agriculture, natural resources and environment offices, commune/sangkat chiefs, and farmers from Kep city and Damnak Changer district, approximately 200 people.

Dr. Kao Thach also encouraged farmers from the communes in Kep city and Damnak Changer district to think carefully, organize themselves into groups in farming, and think clearly about farming as a profession and to gain profits and family farming.

Furthermore, Dr. Provides input to farmers on challenges and solutions that can help farmers profit from farming.

There are three main problems that farmers often face: (1) Problems with capital for agricultural production or products (2) Technical problems in production, including the use of fertilizers, drugs, or techniques for raising animals, problems with increasing yields, and lack of markets for sales This issue must be determined in advance by the marketable products before deciding to increase the yield and (3) that is the problem of the cost of production, which is the cost of production that determines the loss or profit of farmers in farming.

Finally, the doctor called on farmers to join the Techo Farmers Network Association, which was established with the aim of serving farmers. The association will: (1) A bridge to find financial sources, access to new techniques and information, convey the voices and concerns of farmers to leaders, and serve as a bridge to other opportunities; and (2) an umbrella or shield for farmers, that is, to participate in protecting the rights or legality of farmers or protect them from abuses and profits against farmers.
