Phnom Penh: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, on the morning of June 17, 2026, led the Royal Cambodian delegation to attend the 35th Anniversary Summit of ASEAN-Russia Relations from June 17-19, 2026 in Kazan, Russia.
Mr. Meas Sophon The Prime Minister’s spokesperson provided a brief summary of the trip to attend the two summits in Russia, saying that the President’s participation was at the invitation of Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
He stated that the summit is an important opportunity to set the direction for further promoting the ASEAN-Russia strategic partnership, and the leaders will also exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest and concern to contribute to promoting peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond. On the occasion of the invitation to attend the summit, the President will attend various side events and hold a number of bilateral meetings to further strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations, as well as promote cooperation in areas of common and mutually beneficial interest.
