Phnom Penh: The HALO Trust mine clearance team has successfully completed a minefield clearance operation in Ta Dev village, Trapeang Tav commune, Anlong Veng district, Oddar Meanchey province.
According to the Mine Action Authority’s Facebook page on June 17, 2026, one anti-vehicle mine was found and safely destroyed. This one-lane road is used by about 200 local residents for agricultural activities.
The clearing has helped facilitate safe travel and transportation, as well as supporting the livelihoods of local residents.
Authorities say, “We remain committed to making communities safer and free from the threat of mines.”
