Mr. Hun Many: The well-being of officials is the core of work performance

Phnom Penh: Minister of Public Service, Mr. Hun Many, said that the welfare of officials is the core of the implementation of public administration reform in line with the vision of Samdech Techo Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia.

In the health check-up program Free annual leave to leaders and officials of the Ministry of Public Service on April 26, 2026, Mr. Hun Many said that the ministry has initiated a project on considering the well-being of officials of the Ministry of Public Service, which is always attentive, ready, and supports all leaders and officials at all times.

He said So far, 112 cases have been implemented, including: visiting officials on maternity leave, undergoing treatment for illness or experiencing accidents, death, and providing other support in difficult situations.

The Minister added that the Ministry of Public Service has taken another step in sharing some of the burden on basic health needs. Focusing on health screening and monitoring for leaders and officials of the Ministry of Public Service, under the collaboration between the project on considering the health of officials of the Ministry of Public Service and the Medical Association of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia. From this first base, the ministry will continue to think about the next year’s preparations to better promote the well-being of leaders and officials.

Mr. Hun Many stated that the process of developing the public service sector and public administration reform is moving forward vigorously, taking strong steps. With tangible achievements resulting from the efforts and dedication of all leaders and officials, in line with the vision of the Prime Minister. The Minister emphasized that the long process of moving forward in fulfilling the mission of serving the nation and the people depends significantly on the health and well-being of each leader and official, who are the direct operators and the main core strength of the Royal Government.
