Phnom Penh: The Pailin Provincial Administration completely denies the spread of false information that was spread through the Facebook account of Kamtep Limhong and other social media, alleging that “Thailand has invaded Cambodian territory in Pailin province.”
Regarding such allegations, the provincial administration denies, saying, “That is false information.”
The Pailin Provincial Administration confirms that this information is false, misleading, and has no basis in fact. The Pailin Provincial Administration calls on the public and all social media users not to share or disseminate this false information to avoid misunderstandings and to only accept information from official sources.
At the same time, the Pailin Provincial Administration emphasizes that authorities at all levels and relevant law enforcement forces have been strictly implementing their duties to protect and maintain the sovereignty, territorial integrity and security along Cambodia’s borders without allowing any violations.
