Phnom Penh: A group of Chinese customers of Hui Wan Company caused chaos by blocking the public road in front of the National Bank of Cambodia, preventing people from traveling, and even using violence to attack competent authorities while intervening to open the road.
The above incident of violence and blocking of public roads occurred on April 27, 2026, on Hanoi Street, Sangkat Kok Khliang, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh, in front of the National Bank of Cambodia.
The authorities said that the reason why the group of Hui Van customers gathered in front of the National Bank of Cambodia To put the burden on the National Bank to encourage a solution to return the money to them by illegally blocking public roads despite the authorities’ prohibitions.
It should be noted that the National Bank of Cambodia has previously announced that the case of Hui Wan Pay is no longer under the jurisdiction of the National Bank, but for individuals who have been affected by the company, X Pay must register and provide information to the company in liquidation.
