Phnom Penh: April 27, 2026 – Vietjet Airlines Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VJC) successfully held its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), marking a new stage of development with a focus on global expansion, sustainable growth and long-term shareholder value. Vietjet’s continued growth and expansion of its network will provide Cambodian passengers with better access to affordable and convenient travel services across the region and the world.

Outstanding Achievements
In 2025, Vietjet achieved strong business results, exceeding set targets and strengthening the resilience of its operations in a volatile global aviation market. The airline operates a fleet of 135 aircraft, 101 of which are based in Vietnam, serving 254 routes and carrying 28.2 million passengers on more than 153,000 flights. Vietjet recorded total revenue of 82.093 trillion VND (about 3.11 billion USD) and profit after tax of 2.123 trillion VND (about 80.58 million USD), representing an increase of 51.2% and achieving 120% of its annual target.
The airline also contributed 10.537 trillion VND (about 399.96 million USD) in direct and indirect taxes and fees. To support future growth, Vietjet has expanded its aircraft order with 100 Airbus A321neo aircraft and an option for 50 more, as well as 20 Airbus A330neo widebody aircraft, strengthening its position among the world’s largest aircraft customers.

Prestigious Awards
Vietjet’s achievements in 2025 have been recognized by several prestigious international awards, including: Top 10 Safest Airlines 2025 and Sustainability Awards by AirlineRatings, as well as recognition as the most valuable airline brand in Southeast Asia by Brand Finance. Vietjet was listed among the top 50 in Vietnam by Forbes Vietnam and the most efficient airline in reducing emissions in Southeast Asia by Cirium.
Global Strategy – Expanding Scope and promoting the ecosystem
Heading into 2026, Vietjet remains committed to its strategy of “Flying Around the World – Reaching New Heights” with a focus on expanding its international flight network to key markets such as Europe and the United States. To support this growth, the airline continues to strengthen and modernize its fleet with the Airbus A321neo, A330neo and Boeing 737-8 as well as strengthening strategic partnerships with the world’s leading engine manufacturers, including Rolls-Royce, CFM and Pratt & Whitney.

Vietjet is also playing a pioneering role in creating an “International Aviation Finance Center” By collaborating with the Vietnam International Finance Center in Ho Chi Minh City, this helps strengthen its long-term vision for industrial innovation and financial sector development. Meanwhile, the airline is investing more in wide-body aircraft with a central aisle and a high-class business class cabin to improve service quality and meet growing customer demand, especially on long-haul routes.

Investing for the future – improving operations and increasing efficiency
Along with its expansion strategy, Vietjet continues to invest in long-term operational efficiency and sustainable growth. The airline is developing its own maintenance, repair and inspection center at Long Thanh Airport and expanding its own ground services at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat airports to reduce operating costs.
Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA) also achieved significant growth in 2025, organizing 15,198 training courses for 162,100 trainees, reflecting Vietjet’s commitment to building highly qualified human resources in the aviation sector. The airline is also continuing to diversify its after-sales service products and strengthen financial and technological cooperation with global partners to support future development.

At the AGM, shareholders approved a 30% dividend distribution in shares and elected two new board members, confirming Vietjet’s commitment to maintaining a balance between growth, operational efficiency and sustainable returns for shareholders.
