Preah Vihear Province: On the morning of April 27, 2026, Mr. Kim Rithy, Governor of Preah Vihear Provincial Government, presided over a meeting of the Provincial Government to review and discuss important work to improve the quality of public services and solve challenges in the province.
The meeting, which was held at the Preah Vihear Provincial Hall, was attended by the deputy governors of the province, the heads of administration, the three types of armed forces, and many leaders of departments and units around the province.
The main contents of the meeting include:
Human resource work and appointment of officials. The provincial governor led the discussion on the preparation and appointment of civil servants according to their skills and capacity to complete the provincial administrative structure to be stronger and respond quickly to the needs of the people.
Following up on the progress of the work, the meeting heard a report summarizing the work results achieved in the past, especially in the areas of security, order, economy, and infrastructure development in the province.
Addressing challenges, provincial leaders have put in place new measures and strategies to address remaining issues, especially improving the efficiency of local administrative service delivery in line with the government’s five-pronged policy.
On that occasion, Mr. Kim Rithy recommended that all relevant officials continue to strive to fulfill their duties with a high sense of responsibility, maintain internal unity, and pay close attention to serving the people better, more transparently, and more effectively.
The meeting was not only a technical review, but also a demonstration of the commitment of the Preah Vihear provincial administration to promote good governance and sustainable development for this border province.
