Siem Reap: In the campaign to support and provide job opportunities to improve the livelihoods of citizens at the grassroots level, on Friday morning, June 12, 2026, the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training continued to organize a forum on employment, social security, and vocational training at Samdech Hun Sen Primary School, Ranasirithree Phum, Sotornikom District, Siem Reap Province, under the theme “Khmer people help find jobs and provide jobs for Khmer people”, with the participation of 5 large factories, enterprises, associations, and companies in bringing a total of 3,550 job opportunities to citizens, youth, and former workers returning from abroad.

In addition, the Secretary of State encouraged young people To enroll in technical skills at Techo Sen Siem Reap Regional Polytechnic Institute and Angkor National Polytechnic Institute through the “TVET 1.5 million” program, a free national program with monthly subsidies, including skills in air conditioning repair, electricity, construction, coffee service, beauty or salon, grooming and many other skills, including the Recognition of Prior Skills (RPL) test to ensure employment and decent wages.
