Phnom Penh: From April 20 to 30, 2026, Lieutenant General Sok Veasna, Director-General of Immigration, instructed the Department of Investigation and Enforcement to continue deporting a total of 2,671 foreigners, 585 of whom are women, from Cambodia.

Through the Facebook page of the General Department of Immigration on the evening of April 2, the foreigners had 29 nationalities, including: Indonesia, Pakistan, Vietnam, South Africa, Cameroon, Ghana, China, Taiwan, Laos, Myanmar, Nigeria, America, China, India, Burundi, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nigeria, Korea, Kenya, Benin, Russia, Togolese, Nepal, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, were deported from Cambodia.
Including 306 Chinese nationals involved in online scams were deported through the Siem Reap Angkor International Airport Police Station and 635 Thai nationals involved in online scams were deported through the Poipet International Border Police Station. and several other foreigners involved in cases of illegal immigration, forging fake documents, staying without a passport, kidnapping for ransom, using fake visas (fake QR Codes), online fraud, working illegally and other criminal offenses in the Kingdom of Cambodia were deported through the police station at the gate of Techo International Airport.
Please note that the deportation of the above foreigners is in accordance with the strict legal measures of His Excellency Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and the strong guidance of Mr. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Interior, in efforts to clean up and eliminate all cybercrimes occurring in the Kingdom of Cambodia to ensure the safety of citizens both in the region and around the world without exception.
