Phnom Penh: After receiving information requesting intervention via the emergency hotline 1291 at 16:30 on May 4, 2026, there was a case of a man named Mao Chamnap, a 36-year-old man, who was in a drugged state, causing violence, destroying family property, and setting fire to his own house.
The above incident occurred at house number 42, Street 19, Village 09, Sangkat Chey, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh. The Phnom Penh Military Police immediately arrived at the scene, intervened to help extinguish the fire in a timely manner, and also prevented and arrested the perpetrator.
After this shocking incident was over, nearby residents who were afraid and worried that the perpetrator’s act of burning their house could spread to their homes expressed their deepest gratitude to the Phnom Penh Military Police. who intervened in a timely manner.
