Phnom Penh: The Royal Government of Cambodia has been continuing to implement reforms aimed at creating a healthy investment and business environment that allows businesspeople and investors to thrive and grow in Cambodia.

At the opening ceremony “Cambodia Investment Forum 2026” under the theme “Beyond Investment: Strengthening Resilience through Proactive Care and Strategic Partnerships” on Thursday, May 7, 2026, Mr. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), stated that the key players who cannot be missed for today’s investment forum are the private sector, namely businessmen and investors, which the Royal Government always considers to be the engine of economic growth. Therefore, considering and promoting the development of the private sector is always a priority task in the socio-economic development agenda of Cambodia.

The Deputy Prime Minister said, “At the same time, the Royal Government of Cambodia has been continuing to implement reforms through the introduction of laws, legal norms, strategies, policies, roadmaps and measures aimed at creating a healthy investment and business environment that allows businessmen and investors to benefit and grow in Cambodia.”

The Deputy Prime Minister also informed that the A.K.A. has been continuously improving the quality, efficiency, transparency and accountability of public service delivery through a single-entry mechanism and has created public services closer to investors by using the Cambodia Investment Project Management System (cdcIPM) and the National Single Window System.

On the other hand, in order to improve the efficiency of supporting services And the investment maintenance service, the AEC also established a working group to co-create businesses and prepare physical infrastructure projects at the AEC office. Directly to allow investors to come and receive satisfactory investment services and information, as well as various coordination tasks comfortably.
