EDC announces power outages in some districts and districts from today until May 10, 2026 to relocate network lines, change, and install equipment to facilitate road expansion work.

Phnom Penh: Electricite du Cambodge (EDC) has issued a notice on the implementation of repair work, equipment replacement and rerouting of the power grid of Electricite du Cambodge to facilitate the road expansion project from May 8, 2026 to May 10, 2026 in some areas, according to the time and place as detailed in the notice below.

Electricite du Cambodge stated that “despite efforts to ensure that the main electricity supply is not affected, the electricity supply in the above areas may be subject to some inconvenience, which is unavoidable and we apologize in advance.”
