Another 165 Chinese nationals involved in online scams deported from Cambodia

Phnom Penh: The General Department of Immigration, Ministry of Interior, said that 165 more Chinese nationals involved in online scams have been deported from Cambodia.

According to the Facebook page of the General Department of Immigration, on May 10, 2026, following the recommendations of Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior, and the leadership of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Sok Veasna, Director-General of Immigration, instructed the Department of Investigation and Procedures, in cooperation with the Chinese Embassy, to continue to expel a total of 165 Chinese nationals, 03 of whom were women, involved in cases of online scams and illegal residence and work, who were expelled via special aircraft at the Techo International Airport Gate Police Station.

Please note that the expulsion of the above foreigners is a strict implementation of the legal measures of His Majesty the King Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and the strong guidance of His Majesty the King. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, in his efforts to clean up and eliminate cybercrime in Cambodia.
